When you grow up being a PK (preacher's kid) of a small(ish) church, you learn skills in a variety of areas. I was setting up audio equipment and running soundboards before I could drive. My first forays into design were adding and removing pixels from clipart in a DOS-based program called First Publisher, so that the man looked like the pastor for his newsletters. I loved the challenge of taking such basic text & graphic options and making it unique.
Fast forward to today and I still have that same passion. I love being able to take an idea for a business, small group, event, conference or whatever it is and bringing it to life through graphic design. Professionals may call it "branding," but I think of it as bringing something to life, giving it a personality.
Why Genesis Designs? I understand that not every small business or church or group can employ the services of larger graphic design firms.
